Wall Art for Elderly and Caregivers

This project was initiated by the To the Moon Art Charity Volunteer Team, invited to design and transform the wall spaces of Fuxing Day Care Center, the first care facility in Taipei dedicated to the “double elderly with disabilities” (referring to aging individuals with disabilities and their elderly caregivers).

Our design focuses on the main wall, incorporating elements of historical streets and architecture from the Wanhua District, reflecting the local heritage and adding a sense of cultural connection. To enhance functionality, we also designed a magnetic blackboard wall, allowing for more versatile and interactive usage.

Additionally, the walls are adorned with warm and playful decals, bringing a sense of comfort, joy, and lightheartedness to the environment. The goal is to create a space where the care recipients feel relaxed, warm, and uplifted. Through this thoughtful and creative transformation, we aim to contribute to a more welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone at the center.
